A story older than a hundred years...
Our family has been involved in wine making for four generations now, first in Liguria and later in Tuscany. For this reason it is fair to say that it represents the essence of our lives and who we are. This is where our story begins.....a story written about much hard work and patience, since all our products are made by hand.
Who buys our products should spare a moment to reflect on the region that produces them and what this represents in cultural terms. We have always endeavoured to protect our environment in a landscape so arduous and yet so beautiful that the world looks at it with amazement as well as with benevolent envy.
In the 60’s Pietraserena was born. Originally a sharecropping property and now 40 magnificent hectares of sun drenched grapevines which are very close to the towers of the beautiful medieval town of San Gimignano. Today Pietraserena is an important part of our company and a constant producer of excellent quality wines. Thanks to its founder, Bruno Arrigoni, Pietraserena has seen all our dreams and all our hopes materialised into reality.
To speak of Pietraserena as a mere winery/vineyard is to minimise it. Today Pietraserena is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful wine estates in the Chianti Hills, as it enjoys one of the best locations and a boutique business which is a point of reference in the area.
